UK Life: 27 November - 31 Jan

Another tardy update of the blog. What have we done? Lots!
Highlights include:
- Christmas celebrations at Eddie's with Yanan, Victor, Eddie and Jennah, which included a pork roast, vegetable bake, turkey, and other deliciousness.

- Jackies yum cha birthday lunch with the above crew. Sam and Katy got Jackie tickets to Aladdin which we went to see in January.

- Going to Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio in Watford which Jackie loved. Also had late night Five Guys burgers which was the only thing open in Watford on the 1st Jan.

- Went to see fantastic beasts with Coco before she left.
- Went to my first Arsenal win: Arsenal vs Stoke. Then went to a game with Eddie, against Watford, which we lost 2 - 1. Then got drenched cycling home. This was the night before leaving for Verona.

- Had new housemates move in. Jackie managed to psyche out our old ones when she told the dude she had a problem with him. Next thing you know they knock on our door and say bye, we are moving out. The guy also casually says "Ryan we should keep in touch I really like you... Jackie I think if we were in the same room any longer I might strangle you to death...". Nutter to the end.
We now have a nice Aussie couple, but they do like their late night drinking.
- Went to winter wonderland, which was ok but very similar to octoberfest and way more exxy, also no German food. We did go on the rollercoaster which was awesome.
- Went to Europe's biggest lantern festival, which was a huge ripoff, not worth it at all. Was also freezing.

- Went to Poland, as blogged about.
- Played our first saboteur game, and Settlers of Catan, which we are now addicted to.
- Had a fun evening playing darts for yanans birthday. Then had Franco-manca for dinner at Liverpool Street...yum
- Had Eddie's birthday dinner, followed by late night partying for Jackie (I had work). The next day Eddie's family made 300 dumplings which we then devoured (most of them).
- Ray and Sel stayed at ours to surprise Eddie, so we bought a mattress. Luckily our room is quite spacious so the blow up double bed fit easily.

- Jackie is still working at L'oreal and I'm still at Nero, but I'm looking for an office job.
We are writing this in Verona in our hotel, looking out the window onto the colloseum. That's UK life!
