So following on from the last post by Jackie what has been happening?
On the 26th of August we went to Barcelona for five days, meeting up with Ray, Selina, and the newly engaged Carlos and Elsa. It was Carlos birthday celebration while we were there and we had a great evening at his brothers place eating some Venezuelan dishes. We had a great time with the group, eating out lots, going to the beach, a day trip to Girona where they film parts of GOT, and generally just drinking too much sangria and staying out late.
We are now housitting at Jonos and Laura's place, looking after their crazy cats. We have to keep them inside all day and the poor cats are starting to lose their minds. They wail at night for their freedom and their family. Nugen and his girlfriend Tiffany are over for a week or so and are staying with us, and we had a great meal on Saturday with them and some other friends (Eddie, Jennah, Victor, Yanan, Donut, Govich, Choz & Elisa).
We had housemates move in over the weekend, a young couple who are both actors. We will have to get used to living with other people again. We have also had internet connected !!! Success.
Jackies parents are arriving tonight as part of their Europe tour, so we are going to head out for dinner with the and some of their friends.
Jackie has now finished her temp role so is looking for another job. I'm still working as a barista -it's a good life but the pay is not sustainable. Jackie has made me put together a presentation on my career to try and kick start my planning.
Other than that not much going on. The weather has been amazing so we are just enjoying life.
