What a day. We struggled to wake up as there was so much noise last night, mostly from these crazy cats that were about to mate, so Ryan lost it and got up in the middle of the night to throw water on them and shoo them away. So only had time for a quick brekky then was immediately asked to leave the room at 10am. We weren't sure what to do as the bus to Zablijak was scheduled to leave at 3.15pm. Decided we should go buy the tickets first so got to the bus station, only to find out that there was no bus from Kotor to Zablijak today! So we decided we'd try to go to a town near Zablijak and hopefully there'd be a connecting bus. And yes, one bus went to Niksic (about halfway), so we hopped on and made it there without a hitch. Best of all, as soon as we got there, we immediately got another bus that was going to Zablijak! Woo!
But about half hour into the ride we see a big build up of traffic on the highway. It was about 1.30pm and our bus driver boldly drove closer via the oncoming lane to see what was going on. Turns out there had been a motorcycle accident and the guy had died so there were heaps of police, forensics team and ambulance. Very sad, and so horrible because we saw the guys bike totally banged up. Plus it also meant we had to wait there for close to 5 hours!

Ryan was pretty much getting in and out of the bus, walking around, while I had a long nap. Lots of people were going into the bushes to do their business (me included!) and around 4 hours in everyone started honking their horns in frustration and one old man was walking around yelling in anger at how long the wait was. It was pretty ridiculous, but I think it's because the accident spanned the width of the two lane highway (the guy smashed into the rocks on the left and his bike continued skidding to the other side), so they couldn't open one lane and let us through.
By the time we left the scene it was around 6.30pm and our stomachs were grumbling like crazy.
Finally arrived at Zablijak around 7.30pm, checked in to our cabin and grabbed some dinner and groceries. Now Ryan waiting to watch the Euros on TV.
