Today was boat day, so we got up early, had brekky - also had to change rooms at this place we're staying - then walked over to the pier. By the time we got there the boat was packed as it's a tourist boat that takes you from Budva all the way up the coast to Petrovac, then back. There was still space for us so we crammed in with ~35 other people and set sail. The boat cruises quite slowly so we saw all the beaches and towns (which are over developed in my opinion - many ugly buildings) as well as the famous Sveti Stefan.

The day was sooo sunny, so the water was clear and glistening, plus the views were stunning. When the boat got to Drobni Pijesak and it stopped for 20 minutes to let us swim, I jumped right in and the water was perfect too...ahhh heaven.

Upon arrival at Petrovac, we walked over to the beach, had a nice long swim in the clear water, then had some lunch and ice cream. Petrovac is wayyyyyy nicer than Budva. The promenade is cleaner and wider, plus the whole place just looks classier. I think its also not as cramped as Budva, even the beach is less crowded. The crazy thing though is that there are umbrellas and sun chairs on the beach and it costs 10 euro just to sit on them! Pretty steep considering all the ones in Budva (Turkey too) are "free" so long as you order a drink or food.

On the way back to Budva, the boat stopped at some caves at Sveti Nikola and we swam into the cave (it smelled really funky!), then back on the boat to Budva by 3.30pm.

It was such a nice day and has kind of made me think of Montenegro as having a bit more natural beauty and charm than first thought.
