Europe Trip Day 53: Montenegrooooo

We have made it to another country, yay!
After brekky we collected our laundry, then spent a few minutes drying any still damp socks with a hairdryer, before checking out of the hotel. Our bus to Montenegro left at 2pm so we had most of the day remaining, so we went for a walk and found a place for me to get my haircut (2 euro).
After that we went back to the hotel and read for a bit, as well as having a bite to eat.

After our early lunch we walked over to where we thought the bus for Montenegro left from. We couldn't find it.
As the time ticked away towards 2pm we frantically ran back and forth asking people next to the various buses. Luckily as we were about to sprint off further down the street our bus arrived. A whole heap of people jumped on the bus to try and grab a seat - Jackie included! Even with her giant backpack. I put my bag into the back of the bus, wondering what had happened to her. Eventually I walked on the bus and saw her protecting our precious seats. I took her bag and popped it into the boot, then took our seats.
It was a quick hour ride to the border, where travelling on the local bus paid off as we jumped the queue.

Another hour and we were Ulcinj. We got off the bus and began our 3km walk to our apartment...not realising it was 3km up the hill! We arrived after thirty minutes dripping with sweat, even though it wasn't a hot day.
After checking in we walked down to the old town and had an early dinner, then sat on the rocks at the beach.

We also witnessed a scooter reversing into the path of a cyclist , who came flying off the bike smashing his face onto the road. Was horrific, and sobering as they drive like idiots here.
After that we went back to our hotel to enjoy the view.
