UK: Rolling Hills - Day 2

Woke up to the sound of people running around the backyard shouting; turns out the hurricane had brought down a tree onto a fence and all the animals has escaped. Chaos ensued.
After a massive cooked English breakfast we left our accommodation and headed out aiming for central Cotswold. We took as round about way of getting there as possible, being constantly distracted and amazed at the beautiful English villages we passed through. Had lunch in Northleach at a pub (was rubbish) and had a walk around the town. It was freezing and drizzling and Jackie is sick so we didn't last long outside.
From there we drove to Bourton-on-the-Water in Cheltenham where we had scones and tea (as obviously we had done so much exercise and been starved for food through the morning). At the information centre Jackie asked where we could go to see a castle and we were told Sudeley castle. A short drive later we arrived only to find last entrance was 3PM so we couldn't enter. Not much else to do but drive to another town; Winchombe. Again we tried to take some random routes to get there but apparently we entered private roads resulting in us being told off by a very pompous Englishman who had lived there for 15 years that we had deliberately ignored the private road signs... never mind that the road was named Public Bridleway. Anyway we still managed to grab some nice shots.

After doing a bit of exploring we drove out of town to find accommodation and came upon the Hollow Bottom Public House. A small but clean room above the inn with breakfast is 48GBP, not cheap but nothing too crazy. We are lying in bed now listening to the locals rumble on downstairs (floor isn't very sound proof).
