Day 'back from the dead'

I guess I should try and fill in the enormous gap that exists bretween this post and my previous one. I kind of trailed off at the end ther, motivation is a fleeting thing. Basically after my time in kakadu I drove back to Darwin, checked the car into a self storage place ($250 a month) and then flew back to Sydney. After a week in Sydney I was off to south Africa for 2 months for the world cup (have I ever said how hard life is) and so after one back in Sydney after my return flight from south Africa, here I am. Sweating my ass off in Darwin all over again. Anyone expecting some miracle change in the temperature will be sorely dissapointed.
So I arrived a 6 pm, caught a taxi to my car and was about to start packing things away when the oil container on the top of the car started leaking all over the place. Not the easiest stuff to clean up. The self storage place closed at 7 so I didn't have time to deal with the oil and get everything cleared out so I just left most of the stuff and drove the 15 minutes to the YHA. Bought some food, had dinner and really realized how travelled out I am. It's been about 6 months now on the move and I'm just a bit over it. So now I'm leaning
towards driving back to Sydney via cairns rather than going the long way round to Perth. Thoughts anyone?
Tomorrow Ive got chores to do; get the rego sorted out, put a new battery in, clean the oil mess up (gay), and install a new cd player I bought. Hopefully I can find someone wanting to head east...
